HOPE — A Bonner County EMS paramedic will now be stationed with the Sam Owen Fire District after the board of county commissioners approved a sublease and use agreement at Tuesday’s meeting.

Bonner County EMS chief Jeff Linsday told commissioners that the sublease agreement would exist between BCEMS and the Sam Owen Fire District on a month-to-month basis.

“This agreement is between BCEMS and Sam Owen Fire District for the housing of a BCEMS paramedic to provide [Advanced Life Support] response, training and community paramedicine to the eastern portions of Bonner County,” he said.

A rental fee of $50 will be paid each month for the paramedic to work with the Sam Owen crew.

The board of commissioners unanimously approved the sublease and use agreement without further discussion or deliberation.
