The Bonner County Daily Bee has been serving Bonner County and North Idaho residents since 1965. Pete and Adele Thompson founded the paper and believed the region needed a great paper in a great state. Publisher David Keyes has been with the Bee since 2000 and has helped the Bee be recognized as one of the best small daily papers in the country as well as one of the fastest growing newspapers.

The Daily Bee has been the recipient of many regional and national editorial awards including an AP award for second place in the nation for coverage of breaking news.
