A woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine in a car on the MU campus.
According to MU Police, Carrie Zwicky, 45, of Galesburg, Illinois, was parked on Tuesday next to the hay barn in the MU Parking Lot AV-9 at 1612 Rollins Ave.
According to the officer, a passenger in the vehicle said there was a methamphetamine lab in the car. Meth was located in the rear of the vehicle, which was parked within 700 feet of a school building.
Salt, drain cleaner, tubing, ice packs, medical gloves, lye, and solvents were all present within the makeshift lab, according to the probable cause statement.
The officer then also arrested the passenger, Lee Smith, on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance and other charges.
Zwicky's bail is set at $300,000. No bail had been set for Smith.
