The week three Idaho high school girls basketball media poll was released on Wednesday, and three pairs of District 4 teams traded spots in the rankings.

Minico knocked Burley out of the top five in 4A voting after beating the Bobcats 48-38 on the road. The Spartans (4-2) were on a four-game winning streak through Tuesday. Burley (4-2) will have to wait until Jan. 12 before getting a shot at revenge against Minico.

Buhl topped Kimberly in the 3A poll, jumping to the No. 5 ranking. The Indians (6-1) defeated Gooding 62-55 earlier this season, while the Bulldogs (4-2) fell to Gooding 50-44 following the week two poll. The teams will square off in a week.

Oakley and Shoshone remained at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, in the 1A Division I poll. The Indians (6-0) have used strong defense to power their wins, including a 41-21 home win Monday over previously undefeated Lighthouse Christian.

The loss to Shoshone didnít hurt the Lions (7-1) a bit, as they jumped into the 1A-DII rankings at No. 5, knocking Dietrich (4-2) out of the top five, though the Blue Devils still received two points. Questions about the two will be answered when they meet on Monday in Dietrich.
