Boise State forward Chandler Hutchison was honored with his second Mountain West Player of the Week Award Tuesday.
The senior averaged 28.0 points and 7.5 rebounds to help the Broncos to a pair of wins over Colorado State and UNLV last week. Boise State improved to 12-2 overall and 2-0 in Mountain West play.
Hutchison also won the award on Dec. 4, 2017, and his two honors tie for the most of any player in the conference.
He had 24 points in 23 minutes against Colorado State, and then had a season-high 32 points and 12 rebounds in a road win at UNLV. It was the 11th 20-point, 10-rebound game of his career, which is the most in school history.
Hutchison is averaging 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. He finished non-conference play as one of just two players in the country to average at least 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Boise State returns to action Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when they host New Mexico at Taco Bell Arena.
