NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in the 3rd Floor BOCC Meeting Room, Suite 338 of the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request: File VS1926-17 Vacation of McGee Summer Place Subdivision Right-of-Way - The Alaskan, LLC is seeking an approval to allow for vacation of a Right-of-Way, with the intent to vacate a portion of a former state highway, currently owned by private party. The subject right of way exists on a strip of land located north of US highway 200, 4.6 miles east of the city Kootenai, Section 2, Township 57 North, Range 1 West, B.M. The subject property is zoned recreation. STATE TIMBER SALE CR200345, CURTIS SADDLE A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, February 8, 2018 for an estimated 5,105 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $91,677.60 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $916,776.00. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price is $211.18 per MBF. The sale may include blowdown and/or insect and disease infected timber which may result in additional volume and recovery reductions.
