MINUTES FOR THE BONNER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' MEETING June 26, 2018 AIRPORT Approved Wood's Crushing & Hauling Asphalt Division, Inc. Change Order No. 1 to add the additional repair of the Airport entrance in the amount of $28,812.50 for a total contract price of $118,126.35. I further authorize the Chairman to sign the Change Order administratively. Approved and signed the Avista Letter of Intent to move overhead utilities underground near the approach end of Runway 1 at Priest River Airport and that the Chairman sign the Letter of Intent administratively. RECREATION Approved the Addendum to the Garfield Bay Campground Host Agreement to allow for the Camp Host to service the Ubathrooms at the Day Use area by the Garfield Bay Marina at the rate of $100 per week. There are funds in the budget to accommodate this service. Authorized the Recreation Manager to sign the Temporary Occupancy application for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway pertaining to the Permit for the Long Bridge Swim. SHERIFF'S OFFICE Postponed the Discussion/Decision Regarding the purchase of (4) Chevy Tahoe's in the amount of $149,948.00 from Kendall Superstore due to no representation from the Sheriff's Office. Moved to be added to the agenda for July 3, 2018. ROAD & BRIDGE Approved Road & Bridge Department accepting the quote from Frank Gurney, Inc. to remove and replace approximately 825 feet of guardrail along the Bottle Bay Road at a cost not to exceed $32,000 to be paid with Road & Bridge funds from Org: 8760; Contracts - Roads. Accepted the piggyback price of $316,298.00 from Pape Machinery for a John Deere 772G Motor Grader and to authorize the Director to solicit competitive lease/purchase quotes from local banks for the Board to approve at a later date. EMS Granted the North 20 feet of Lot 2 of B&L Commercial Park to the City of Ponderay. At 9:38 the meeting was recessed. At 9:44 the meeting was reconvened.
