SANDPOINT -- Sandpoint senior Kelsey James advanced to the finals in the opening day of the 4A Region 1 tennis tournament, that saw the Moscow Bears dominate the rest of the field. In the girls doubles finals, Ara Mugde and Lea Rowe of Post Falls with take on Alisa Hart and Kelly Kimberling."With exception of a couple matches, Moscow has been dominating everything so far," said Sandpoint coach Jane Rockwell. "We've had some good match and Dusty (Aunan) played awesome today. The scores just didn't reflect it." Weather permitting, the championship matches and consolation finals will be held today in Sandpoint. The loser of the championship will play the consolation winner. The top two finishers will then advance to the state tournament in Caldwell on May 20-21.
