Dover Bay announces Sandcreek Lofts

SANDPOINT — Dover Bay Development has received approval to move forward with the new Sandcreek Lofts at Sandpoint Marina.

“We’re excited to announce that we have received final site plan review and approval to move forward on this wonderful new addition to downtown Sandpoint,” Marie Garvey of Dover Bay Real Estate said. “Our plan is to break ground this fall.”

Reservations are being taken are now available for the modern, waterfront one- and two-bedroom lofts are right in the heart of downtown Sandpoint. Garvey said the lofts are close to shopping, dining and the marina, everything is just steps from the front door. The homes will feature spectacular views and a rooftop garden. Each loft comes with stress-free maintenance, fitness center access and covered parking and start at $299,900, she said.

For the design, Dover Bay Development partnered with Tim Boden & Scott Wohlschlager, Boden Architecture; Tom Runa, Runa Group Planning & Design; Eric Eldenburg, J.A. Sewell; and Colin Burnett and Justin Schuck, Idagon Homes.

The building will include four levels, a private courtyard entryway, and a total of 13 waterfront lofts. The homes will feature open floor plans and classic looks with a touch of contemporary flair, according to a press release. Landscaping and hardscaping will enhance the streetscape charm and help the structure blend into this historic downtown area. The structure will also have a small amount of street level commercial space.

With a projected groundbreaking this fall, the first units are expected to be ready for occupancy next summer.

“The Sandcreek Lofts will be a great addition to downtown Sandpoint,” Jim Haynes, associate broker at Realm Partners, LLC, said. “There has been an enormous amount of interest in these new downtown Sandpoint condominiums.”
