Northside honors firefighters at 46th annual banquet

Northside Fire recently honored its firefighters at its annual banquet.

Northside Fire commissioners held the organizations annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on Saturday Feb. 11. This yearís event was held at the Ponderay Event Center and catered by Sarah Yeoman Catering.

Members awarded for their years of service were, Tammy Poulin and Christina Uzeta with five years and Leo Addison with 35 years.

Three individuals were acknowledged for their outstanding accomplishments throughout this past year. Christian Anderson received the award for most responses, and Mike Knott received the award for most trainings. The most prestigious awards of the night, which are voted on by the recipientís peers, are Cadet of the Year and Firefighter of the Year. Honored were Jacob Rich, named Cadet of the Year; and Christian Anderson, who was named Firefighter of the Year.

Northside Fire District officials said they would like to thank all of their staff for their hard work and dedication. Additionally we would like to thank the following sponsors who made our banquet a huge success:
