Candidate forum set for Wednesday

SANDPOINT — Candidates for all three of the seats that are up for vote in the Lake Pend Oreille School District trustee election will be on stage at a candidates’ forum Wednesday, May 10, at the Columbia Bank community room.

The forum will run 5:30-7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and see, hear and pose questions to the candidates.

For those who can’t make it in person, the forum will be broadcast live on 88.5 KRFY as well as streamed live on SandpointOnline.com, via Facebook.

All candidates for the three zones that are up for vote have confirmed they will be attending; that is Richard Miller and Gary Suppiger in Zone 2; Victoria Zeischegg and Lonnie Williams in Zone 3; and Cary Kelly and Anita Perry in Zone 5.

The school trustee election is Tuesday, May 16.
