Ivano’s Ristorante announces changes

SANDPOINT — Changes are on the horizon at Ivano’s and La Rosa Club.

“To all of our loyal customers and the generous Sandpoint community, with mixed emotions, we inform you that our last night operating the La Rosa Club at its present location will be Saturday, April 30,” the Lippi family said in a statement Monday.

The decision, they said, was not an easy one.

“The face and location of the La Rosa Club might be changing, but this is not a ‘goodbye,’ ” they said. “There are exciting new ideas on the horizon as the La Rosa Club is incorporated into the Ivano’s Ristorante experience.”

The Ivano’s legacy, on the corner of First and Pine, will continue to live on as the family welcomes longtime employees Dustin Reichold and Nolan Smith as significant shareholders.

“Their loyalty, hard work, generous nature and passionate desire of upholding the Ivano’s Legacy have us excited and grateful to have them on board as part of the ownership family,” the family said.

As the Lippi family circumstances necessitate some changes, the family said the community can trust and count on Ivano’s for the same quality experience that we have delivered to Sandpoint residents for the past 32 years.

Ivano’s Catering, which has been experiencing significant growth, will continue under the expert direction of Liz Evans.

“We are pleased to reserve special events on site at Ivano’s, under the tent at Del Lago, or we can help you transform your favored location,” the family said.

Things are off to a fast start with Ivano’s Del Lago at Beyond Hope Resort, scheduled to open seasonal operation on Friday, May 27, under the guidance of longtime manager and bartender-extraordinaire, Tim Kilchenstein. Residents are invited to take part in Sunday concerts on the lawn, a beautiful sunset, a signature cocktail or glass of wine accompanied by a delicious meal on the deck overlooking one of the most spectacular views on Lake Pend Oreille.

“Our family is especially grateful to the community of Sandpoint for the support and generosity shown to us as we navigate through these times of change,” they said. “The Italian flag will be flying high and proud, signifying Ivano’s Legacy.
