Sandpoint walking tours announced

SANDPOINT — The city’s Historic Preservation Commission will be conducting walking tours through the downtown Sandpoint core next month.

The recently published “Sandpoint … a walk through history” will serve as the guide for the tour. The tours are Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. The walking tours of Sandpoint will start in front of the historic Panida Theater.

All are invited to put on their walking shoes and join in the exploration of Sandpoint’s historic downtown.
