SANDPOINT — John Cosolito and Jim Brewer were the top finishers in the adult standings of the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club’s Thanksgiving challenge derby.

Cosolito hauled in a 21.36-pound rainbow trout that measured 34 inches. Brewer, meanwhile, boated a 25.22-pound Mackinaw to claim the top spot in the lake trout standings.

Taylor Micheilli led the junior Mack standings with a 6.76-pounder, while Justin Gaffaney and Donny Houk led the Youth A and B standings, respectively.

Adult rainbow trout — 1. John Cosolito 21.36 pounds, 34 inches; 2. Michael Baumann 18.64, 33 inches; 3. Curt Anderson 18.12, 33 1/4; 4. Ron Nelson 17.76, 33; 5. Dave Steinbach 17.28, 32.

Adult Mackinaw — 1. Jim Brewer 25.22 pounds, 38 1/2 inches; 2. Harvey Rutherford 21.6, 38; 3. John Cosolito 20.52, 37; 4. Brad Sturgis 19.74, 36.

Junior Mackinaw — 1. Taylor Micheilli 6.76 lbs. 27 inches.

Youth A — 1. Justin Gaffaney 11.94 pounds, 28 1/2 inches; 2. Mariah Gingerich 9.06, 27 1/2; 3. Damian Porter 8.76, 26 1/2.

Youth B — 1. Donny Houk 21.64 pounds 38 inches (Mack); 2. Fisher La Rue 11.66, 29; 3. Carly Laybourne 11.48, 30.
