Free food distribution event set

BLANCHARD — The Blanchard community is invited to benefit from a free food distribution.

Blanchard Area Seniors Incorporated and Second Harvest Mobile Market, in conjunction with USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, will be distributing free produce and other nutritious perishable goods on Wednesday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blanchard Community Center. Organizers anticipate serving up to 300 families, though food will be handed out only while supplies last. The Blanchard Community Center is located at 685 Rusho Lane in Blanchard. BASIC is a non-profit organization serving all age groups since 1987.
