Lora Ann Fedak, beloved mother, sister and friend, went to be with her heavenly father on Dec. 5, 2017, at the age of 56.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at the Sandpoint Events Center, 102 Euclid, Sandpoint, Idaho.

Lora was born on Jan. 16, 1961, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Bobby and Mary Cox. She lived in Hawthorne, Calif., until 1975, moving to Sandpoint when she was 15 years of age. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1979.

After high school, she went to California for a few years. She met and married Tommy Fedak and together they built a house in Sagle, Idaho. They would later build a home in Hope, Idaho, where they adopted their first little girl and then a few years later they would adopt another girl. After they adopted their children they would move to Sandpoint. Tommy and Lora would divorce in July 2017. Lora’s whole life revolved around her two girls, her work and above all serving her Lord, Jesus Christ.

Lora worked at Panhandle State Bank as a loan officer and later with Columbia Bank until her death.

Lora is survived by her two beloved daughters, Aaliyah Rose Fedak, 14, of Course Gold, Calif., and Rachel Kathleen Fedak,10, of Emmet, Idaho; her ex-husband, Tommy Fedak of Emmet; her brothers, Randall Cox of Los Angeles, Calif., and Barry Cox of Sandpoint; nephew, David Cox; and niece, Jennifer Cox of Tacoma, Wash.; grandparents of the girls, Bob and Marge Fedak; and numerous aunts and uncles and too many friends to name.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby J. and Mary E. Cox

Lora was an active member of Mountain Springs Church in Sandpoint. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, which was evident by her unconditional love for her children, family and friends. Kindness, generosity and hospitality were her hallmark and she will be greatly missed.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to cancer charities of your choosing or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to sign Lora’s online guestbook at coffeltfuneral.com.

Final arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
