Deputies responded to an unknown injury crash on U.S. 95 at Davisville Road in Sagle at 10:18 p.m. Christopher A. Shay, 47, of Newman Lake, Wash., was arrested for driving under the influence.

A deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity on Carols Lane in Sagle at 11:13 p.m.

Oct. 17

A deputy responded to a report of reckless driving on U.S. 2 in Priest River at 2:45 a.m.

Deputies conducted an agency assist in the 300 block of Spokane in Kootenai at 3:58 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Oct. 16

Jeffrey R. Williams, 47, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1200 block of Cedar for violating a no-contact order and unlawful possession of a firearm at 6:57 a.m.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury collision at Fifth and Alder at 8:05 a.m.

Officers responded to a commercial burglary report in the 100 block of Boyer at 8:22 a.m.

Kimberlee D. Benedict, 52, of Kootenai, was arrested for a second-offense driving under the influence charge in the 200 block of First at 11:06 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of a vehicle being keyed in the 1500 block of Westwood Drive at 11:56 a.m.

A juvenile already in custody was served with a warrant at the Juvenile Detention Center at 12:20 p.m.

An officer conducted follow-up on a previous call on Division at 12:44 p.m.

Shane D. Causer, 43, of Bonners Ferry, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Kootenai County on U.S. 95 in Ponderay at 12:38 a.m.
