SANDPOINT — The 2017 Sandpoint Soccer Association Rec League fall soccer season is fast approaching, with the early registration deadline of Tuesday, Aug. 15 for the lowest rate.

Fall Rec League Soccer, for ages 4 years-old through the 12th grade, is recreational soccer and offers a fun way to get outside, get some exercise and hang out with your friends.

The cost is $50, and an additional $10 if your child needs a soccer jersey. You can download a form at www.sandpointsoccer.com, or pick one up at Sandpoint Sports (in Ponderay by Taco Bell).

Teams practice at the local elementary schools (Farmin-Stidwell, Washington, Kootenai, Northside and Sagle) and play games on Saturdays at Farmin-Stidwell Fields.

Practices start the week of Sept. 11, and games start on Sept. 23 and go through Oct. 28. The coach’s meeting is in early September, and players will receive a call from their coach after that.

For any questions, or for more information, email Diane at soccer@sandpointsoccer.com.
