Top Dogs host Panhandle Championships on Saturday

(Photo by ANN DICKINSON) Top Dog wrestler Darrian Resso will be one of an expected 500-plus youth wrestlers in action on Saturday as Sandpoint Middle School plays host to the season-ending North Idaho Wrestling League Panhandle Championships. A host of Top Dogs were in action at the Battle for the North Tournament at Lakeland last weekend, placing fourth among the eight large teams. Isaac Weisz, Joel Holub, Jacob Neff, Tyler Wood, Colton Dickinson, Desmund Logan, Jorden Tyler and Tanner Thornhill all placed first, while Blake Sherrill, Darrian Resso, Shane Sherrill, Trenton Case, Ketsia Holub, Knox Dean and Zechariah Tucker all placed second at Lakeland.
