CLARK FORK Brooke Stevens hit a pair of 3-pointers and score 12 points, but the 1A Wampus Cats could not keep up with the 3A Badgers, falling 64-30 in nonleague girls basketball Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

Kaylee Banks scored nine points, Lily Simko six and Tessa Sutton added four points, five rebounds and three steals for the Wampus Cats (0-3), who played much better in the second half in the first game under new head coach Jordan Adams.

The third and fourth quarter we finally started running the offense like were supposed to. They had some moments of brilliance, described Adams. I told them if we can keep that up, well have success. We rebounded better in the second half.

Clark Fork hosts North Idaho Christian on Thursday.
