Future bright for Sandpoint hoopsters

(Photo by ERIC PLUMMER) Sandpoint Future AAU 5th grader Allie Pettit goes in for a layup during the team’s halftime exhibition recently during a Bulldog girls basketball game at Les Rogers Court. The team is 3-5 on the season, with every game close in score and coming down to the wire. The Future has three more games within league play and then will in the Snake River Tournament in Lewiston on Feb. 9-11. The coaches say the players are totally invested and eager to learn, and have come a long way since the first day of practice.
