Little Dribblers Basketball deadline set

Little Dribblers Basketball, a clinic style basketball program, is designed to introduce first- and second-grade participants to the game of basketball and teach the basics of the game with a heavy emphasis on dribbling and handling. A Sandpoint youth sport jersey is required.

The Little Dribblers program will take place at Kootenai Elementary School on Wednesdays, Feb. 14, 21, and 28 and March 7, 14, and 21, from 2:30-4 p.m. (first grade) or 4-5:30 p.m. (second grade). Fee to participate is $23 ($5 discount for city of Sandpoint residents) Pre-register at Parks and Rec, 1123 Lake St., by Jan. 22. For those needing a sports jersey, the cost is $14.
