Titans finish second in Post Falls league

(Courtesy photo) The Sandpoint Titans 6th grade AAU girls basketball team recently wrapped up a strong season with a 6-1 record, finishing in second place in the Post Falls league. The Titans outscored their opponents by 173 points in the seven league games played, averaging 48 points a game. The Titans faced Bonners Ferry, Lakeland, Coeur d Alene, Post Falls, Silver Valley, St Maries, Wallace and Spokane. The girls had a notable win against Lakeland (52-11). The Titans also had a 3rd place finish in the River City tournament. They are part of the Sandpoint Lady Ballers AAU program, which includes teams from 5th through 8th grade.
