Bombers finish season with 6-1 record

(Courtesy photo) The Sandpoint Bombers ended their season recently with a 6-1 record, finishing second place in the 7th grade girls AAU Basketball League in Post Falls. The Bombers outscored their opponents by 181 points seven league games, averaging 52 points a game against Bonners Ferry, Lakeland, Couer d Alene, Post Falls, St. Maries and Timberlake. The Bombers notched wins over Post Falls and Lakeland, and finished third in the River City Tournament. They are part of the Sandpoint Lady Ballers AAU program, which includes teams from 5th through 8th grade.
