Yunek signs to run at Northwest Nazarene

(Courtesy photo) Sandpoint senior Heather Yunek will take her talent and love for running fast to the next level, signing a letter of intent this week to compete in track for Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa. Yunek, who excelled this year in the 100 with a PR of 13.61 and the 200 meters in 27.97, and also ran in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays, is excited at the prospect of testing her skills at the college level with the Division II Nighthawks of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
