Clark Fork hosts Happy Fore-th Tournament

  • Happy Fore-th from Clark Fork Participants of the Happy Fore-th Golf Tournament congregate after a nine hole golf fundraiser earlier this week. The Clark Fork High School Boosters supplied the prizes, and all proceeds will go toward improving the nearly-finished dual-use golf and disc golf course, which plans to have an official grand opening in September. Lewis Speelmon is pictured awarding first place trophies to Brian Powell for the men, and Wendy Heller for the women. Former San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons tight end Ron Heller tied Don Heller for second place, while Speelmon came in third for the men. Kim Derr finished second for the women golfers, followed by Kathy Powell. Everyone wished to thank Lewis and Patti Speelmon for organizing the tournament. (Courtesy photos)
