Miller meets baseball legend at Fenway Park

(Courtesy photo) Former Bulldog player and longtime Sandpoint football and wrestling coach Steve Miller, left, got to meet legendary baseball journalist Peter Gammons earlier this week while taking in a couple of Boston Red Sox games at venerable Fenway Park. “I love Fenway, everything about it is awesome,” said Miller, making his second trip to Boston. “I sat next to a guy who showed me a picture of him and Ted Williams from the 50s.” Gammons first covered the Red Sox for the Boston Globe, before stints as a baseball writer at Sports Illustrated and a longtime analyst for ESPN, and is one of most revered personalities in baseball.
