(Courtesy photo) The Sandpiont Middle School tennis team had 21 players turn out this year, including 11 8th graders. Sandpoint head tennis coach Kent Anderson got help from current and former players Charlie Johnson, Christian Story, Hadley Goodvin, April Clark and Amy Clark, and cited the peer coaching as a secret to success. “In a year, these 8th graders will be the foundation of our 2020 varsity team. There are several 7th graders who could make a run on making the varsity team right now,” lauded Anderson of the talented group. “It has been a fun fall season and we still have another two weeks to go. I look forward to every practice with this group.”
