Greetings from the Kick Start Soccer program

(Photo by ERIC PLUMMER) More than 60 area 2-4 year-olds enjoyed the fall season of Kick Start Soccer, put on by the Sandpoint Soccer Association. The young kids learn the basics and fun of soccer, with a host of volunteer U14 Strikers players on hand to assist director Joel Aispuro for the five one-hour sessions. “The funny thing is there’s so much personality,” said Aispuro, who has been coaching the program for years and now has two kids of his own among those enjoying the fun. “At their age, they think they’re on top of the world.”
