MARCH 16

ST. PATRICK’S RUN — The St. Patrick’s Day 5K and 10K Run will begin at 10 a.m. on March 16 at Granite Lake Park in Clarkston. Same-day registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at the same site. Runners may also register at www.seaportstriders.com until March 13.

MARCH 21

CG&CC TOURNEY DEADLINE — Clarkston Golf and Country Club will play host to a two-day, four-way tournament March 23-24. Cost is $60 per person. Entry deadline is March 21. For more information, call (509) 758-2546.

MARCH 22-23

SNAKE RIVER TRIATHLON — This event starts with a 500-yard swim on March 22 at the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center from 4 to 8 p.m. Then on March 23, there will be a 25-kilometer bike race starting at 10 a.m. at Hells Gate State Park, followed by a 4K run. MARCH 28

Corks for a cause — The Warrior Athletic Association, which raises funds for Lewis-Clark State athletics, will put on a fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. March 28 at Lewiston’s Lindsay Creek Vineyards. The event is free and a portion of the sales during the evening will be donated to L-C athletics.

APRIL 6

Kendrick fundraiser dinner — The Kendrick girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will put on a fundraiser dinner — which will include 100 pounds of Alaskan seabass — April 6 at 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Kendrick. The teams will use the money for a tournament in Sitka, Alaska, next winter. Tickets are on sale at Kendrick High and cost $25 apiece. APRIL 13

LCSC 3-ON-3 TOURNAMENT — The Lewis-Clark State Activity Center will play host to a community basketball tournament April 13 beginning at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $80 per team before April 13 and $100 for same-day registration. Teams may register a maximum of four players, with each team guaranteed two games. Levels of competition range from third- and fourth-grade boys and girls to open coed teams. Open division champions win $100 with a minimum of five teams. APRIL 26

LCSC DOLLAR AUCTION — The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team has scheduled a Dollar Auction fundraiser for 5:30 p.m. on April 26 at the Ketch Pen at the Lewiston Roundup Grounds. Cost is $30. Information is available from Austin Johnson at (208) 792-2865.

MAY 6-8

LCSC BASKETBALL CAMP — The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball program will conduct a Shooting Camp on May 6-8. Fee is $75. Information is available from Leif Karlberg or Gray Reid at (208) 792-2271.

JUNE 7-9

LCSC GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TEAM TOURNAMENT — This tournament for high school and junior high teams on June 7-9 at the Lewis-Clark State Activity Center. The cost is $275 per team. Each team is guaranteed five games. Three levels of competition including high school varsity, varsity/JV and middle school. Games start Friday evening and finish Sunday late afternoon. Organizers will try to accommodate scheduling conflicts, including two-day schedules on a first-come basis. Dorm rooms are available at $10 per bed per night. LCSC BASKETBALL CAMP — The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball program will conduct a High Potential Camp on June 10-13. Fee is $175 for day campers or $295 for those staying overnight. Information is available from Leif Karlberg or Gray Reid at (208) 792-2271.

JUNE 16-20

LCSC GIRLS’ BASKETBALL CAMP — The Warrior Camp is open to girls entering grades fifth through 12th on June 16-20 at the LCSC Activity Center. It will be conducted from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. The cost is $165 for day campers or $285 for overnight campers. LCSC GIRLS’ BASKETBALL SHOOTING CAMP — This camp is for girls entering grades third through 12th. It will be conducted from 1 to 4 p.m. each day from June 24-27 at the Lewis-Clark State Activity Center. The cost is $100. The focus will be on the Pro-Shooting System with position shooting and skill development. The camp director is LCSC coach Brian Orr. LCSC JUNIOR WARRIOR BASKETBALL CAMP — This camp is for girls entering grades third through sixth on July 1-3. It will be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon each day at the Lewis-Clark State Activity Center. The cost is $75. The focus is on fundamentals and skill development, as well as individual and team competitions based on age and ability. The camp director is LCSC coach Brian Orr.
