Let’s be honest about climate change, claims

Is anyone growing weary of those people who are constantly spreading misinformation and accusing the people trying to provide the facts with spreading misinformation? For instance, some people in Sydney, Australia might roundly condemn people opportunistically blaming the recent fires on climate change while not disclosing that by now Australian authorities have arrested 24 people and charged them with arson and that another 200 people are being investigated for the same.

Further, to imply (or state) that the most recent decade was the hottest on record is to ignore the historical record. CFACT’s 1-8-2020 issue titled “Australia’s fires are not climate” contains a piece by Dr Jennifer Marohasy, an Australian environmental scientist, in which she states that “… this year’s temperature in Australia… is historically normal, with the summer of 1938-1939 possibly Australia’s hottest.”. An article in the 1-8-2020 edition of The New American provides a chart showing that the temperatures there from 1900 – 1940 were much hotter than the last decade. (See number 2 below).

1. Newsweek, 1-7-2020: “What Caused the Wildfires in Australia?”

2.. The New American, 1-8-2020: Aussie Fires ARE Caused by Man – It’s Called Arson and Green Policy”

3. PJ Media, 1-7-2020: “Climate Change or Arson? 24 Charged…”

4. The Federalist, 1-15-20: “Don’t Blame Climate Change for Raging, Blame Bad Management”

Further, it is important to remember that some radical zealots have called for the use of arson as a strategy In their fight to beleaguer their enemies.
