Climate emergency will impact our security

Print Article

Monte Heil’s letter (Daily Bee, Feb. 6, 2020) stated that “The Climate and Security Advisory Group (Exploring the Security Risks of Climate Change)” did not have any climatologists on its board.

So Monte, what part of security don’t you understand? These are people who are simply concerned with our country’s security should climate change be real. After looking at the science that is apparently incomprehensible to you, some of them have come to believe that there is a climate emergency that will affect our security.

Monte, I suggest you go to the “The Climate and Security Advisory Group” website, click on the “advisory board” tab and actually read the bios for all 32 who are on the board. Of course they’re not climatologists, the site is about security.

Only someone who is very confused would confuse climate science with security.

Type this into your search engine: “Climate Models Are Running Red Hot, and Scientists Don’t Know Why” and you may actually learn something.

Climate change deniers never say what it would have to look like for them to believe that there is climate change.

Here is your chance Monte to tell us what it would have to look like for you to believe that there is global warming. If you can’t answer that, how can you deny what you can’t define?
