SANDPOINT — Suzuki String Academy and Allegro Dance Studio are collaborating to offer the Sandpoint community a holiday gala celebrating music, dance and art.

“This Christmas Night” will feature local musicians and dancers from the community in an enchanting winter performance on Saturday, Dec. 14. This is a formal event which will take place in the ballroom at the Sandpoint Business and Events Center, 102 S. Euclid Ave.

There will be a matinee performance at 2 p.m., and the evening gala begins at 6 p.m., which will include a festive hot chocolate and ornament making station for kids and a winter wine hour for adults hosted by The Longshot and Trinity Cafe.

During the evening’s pre-concert events, there will be an auction for an original violin hand-painted by local artist Lisa V Maus. Proceeds from the auction will be used to start a scholarship fund for students.
