Martha Evelyn Finney, 91

Martha Evelyn Finney, 91, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004.

Private family services will be held later.

Martha was born in Marion, Ky., on Jan. 27, 1913. She grew up in Kentucky and graduated from high school. She lived in Billings, Mont., for many years, working as a sales clerk in a clothing store.

In 1999, she moved to Clark Fork and then to Sandpoint in 2001. She was a member of the Baptist Church, enjoyed golf and playing bridge.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Tracy Hadsell of Hope, Idaho; two great-grandchildren, Teresa Wise of Boise, Idaho, and Christopher Hadsell of Hope; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Michael and Gabriel Wise, all of Boise; and a sister, Elizabeth Daugherty of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her son, Fred H. Peters; a daughter, Sharon Peters; and a granddaughter, Kari J. Laver.

Final arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
