SPIRIT LAKE — Jarett Thompson, a 6-foot-6 senior, scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the host Tigers (2-1) in the non-league game.

Ren Jones grabbed 11 rebounds for Timberlake, which shot 28 percent (12 of 43) from the field.

Clayton Hewitt scored seven points for Clark Fork (0-2), which made just seven baskets.

Matt Douglas had two steals, Tim Brennan one early in the third quarter, and Timberlake converted them into points to expand on a five-point halftime lead.

Timberlake travels to Kootenai on Tuesday.
