Nice to see somebody lives in a perfect world

| April 9, 2005 9:00 PM

I'd5m so glad that Ellen Weissman lives in a perfect world, where her only concern with taxes are those for the schools.

How nice she earns enough not to have to worry only about the exploding evaluations, the new EMS taxing district next year, last years raise in the Library levy, the cost to all the numbers of police and sheriff officers that a councilman recently said was out of proportion to the population.

How nice she can pay for the 40 percent to 100 percent and more increase in water, sewer and garbage rates. And I'd5m so delighted that she won'd5t blink an eye when the $1/4 million bill comes in for the defense of the white supremacist accused of killing another one.

Unfortunately, to quote a current TV ad, 'd2Few of us Live in Perfect.'d3 Oh, and yes, I'd5d gladly agree to earn $35,000 to $45,000 for nine months work. Beats the heck out of what I'd5m making now.

Finally, to my caller of April 1, 'd2Same to you fella!'d3
