SUMMARY OF KOOTENAI ORDINANCE NO. 147

The city of Kootenai, Bonner County, Idaho, hereby gives notice of the adoption of Kootenai Ordinance No. 147 annexing that portion of North Kootenai Road beginning 230 feet north of the intersection of Second Street and Main, north 1978.60 feet.

Such lands are more particularly described as follows:

A Strip of land lying in a portion

of Section 1, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, Boise Meridian, Bonner County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the South Quarter (S1/4) Corner of said Section 1;

Thence, North 00o20'24" East, 1300.00 feet, along the North-South Centerline of said Section 1, to a point of intersection with the North Boundary of the Plat of KOOTENAI TOWNSHIP, as shown on the Plat thereof, recorded in Book 1 of Plats, at Page 84, records of Bonner County, Idaho, said point of Intersection being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Thence, continuing North 00o20'24" East, 1648.60 feet, along said North-South Section Centerline, to the Center Quarter (C1/4) Corner of said Section 1;

Thence, leaving said North-South Section Centerline, Westerly, 25.00 feet along the East-West Centerline of said Section 1, to a point of Intersection with the existing Westerly right of way of North Kootenai Road;

Thence, leaving said East-West Section Centerline, North 00o20'24" East 330.00 feet, along said existing Westerly right of way line, said line being parallel with the North-South Section Centerline, to a point on the South Lot line extended of Lot 1 of Block 2 of HOLLYFORD-PHASE ONE, as shown on the Plat thereof, recorded in Book 4 of Plats at Page 48, records of Bonner County, Idaho;

Thence Easterly, 50.00 feet, along said extended Lot line to a point on the existing Easterly right of way line of said North Kootenai Road;

Thence, South 00o20'24" West, 530.00 feet, along said existing Easterly road right of way line, being parallel with said North-South Section Centerline, to a point of Intersection with the North line extended West of Lot 1 of KOOTENAI MEADOWS, as shown on the Plat thereof, recorded in Book 3 of Plats, at Page 128, records of Bonner County, Idaho.

Thence, Easterly, 5.00 feet, along said extended North line of said Lot 1 to the Northwest Corner of said Lot 1;

Thence, South 00o20'24" West, 462.31 feet, along the West line and West line extended of said Lot 1, and the West line of Lots 19 and 18 and the West Line extended of said Lot 18 of said Plat of KOOTENAI MEADOWS, to a point of Intersection with the existing Southerly right of way line of Kootenai Meadows Road;

Thence, Westerly, 5.00 feet, along said Southerly right of way line, to a point on the existing Easterly right of way line of said North Kootenai Road;

Thence, South 00o20'24" West, 986.29 feet, along said existing Easterly right of way line, to a point of Intersection with the above mentioned North Boundary Line of Plat of KOOTENAI TOWNSHIP;

Thence, leaving said existing Easterly road right of way line, Westerly, 25.00 feet, along said North Boundary Line, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

TOGETHER WITH: That 5.00' wide strip adjoining to the existing Easterly right of way line of North Kootenai Road and that area at the Northwest Corner of Lot 1, Block 1, of SCHISSLER MEADOWS, as shown on the Plat thereof, recorded in Book 7 of Plats, at Page 99, records of Bonner County, Idaho.

The ordinance further provides that the annexation shall be effective upon the publication of this Summary. The full text of the summarized Ordinance No. 147 is available at Kootenai City Hall, 204 Spokane St., Kootenai County Idaho, in the office of the City Clerk.
