Don't shop at stores that won't use 'Merry Christmas'

| November 28, 2005 8:00 PM

Last night on a television news show, I saw that several large retail stores would not be using the words "Merry Christmas" in their advertising or signs.

The words "happy holidays" or "winter holidays" or "seasons greetings" will be used. I have always thought that this time of year as made to honor the birth of Jesus Christ. Even the districts have taken "Merry Christmas" out of their celebrations and signs.

I hope the Lord will forgive me. but I'm tired of turning the other cheek. As a personal choice I will not be Christmas shopping at the following stores, Wal-Mart, Costco, Sears, K-Mart, Target and any other store that refuses to use the words "Merry Christmas" in their advertising.
