COEUR D'ALENE — The Lake City Timberwolves won all of their boys singles matches in defeating Sandpoint 8-4 in Tennis on Tuesday.

Senior Cody Helander scored an impressive win at No. 1 girls singles, never dropping a game as she dominated a solid player in Emilee Plank.

"She played really strong again," said coach Jane Rockwell of her top player. "Mentally she can tear her opponent apart. She's got that 'I'm going to beat you' look all over her face."

Abby Helander and Jessie Novak of Sandpoint captured the No.1 girls doubles match, remaining undefeated on the season.

The No. 2 boys doubles team of Justin Zirwes and Jessy Petty continued their season-long style of winning tightly contested, come-from-behind wins.

Ryan Williams and Victoria Johnson scored a decisive win at No. 1 mixed doubles.

The Bulldogs head to Coeur d' Alene again on Thursday to face the Vikings, arguably the top team in North Idaho.
