NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of the City of Sandpoint at the office of the City Clerk of said City on or before the 5th day of May, 2006, until the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M. of said day:

FOLLOWING VEHICLES:

Two (2) Full-size Sport Utility

Four Door, Four Wheel Drive

Bids will be opened at the office of the City Clerk at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend said opening.

Bid forms, bidder instructions and specifications are available to interested bidders at the office of the City Clerk, City of Sandpoint, Idaho.

All bids shall be delivered to the City Clerk under seal with a concise statement marked on the outside cover which identifies it as bid proposal for TWO (2) FULL-SIZE SPORT UTILITY FOUR DOOR, FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES, the vendor's name and address, and the due date for the bid proposal.

All bids shall contain one (1) of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total purchase price bid: (a) cash; (b) cashier's check made payable to the City of Sandpoint; (c) certified check made payable to the City of Sandpoint; (d) bidders bond executed by a surety company qualified to do business in Idaho, made payable to the City of Sandpoint.

The right is reserved to reject any and all bids. The City further reserves the right to accept or reject the bid for each individual piece of equipment. All vendors must be properly qualified to do business in Idaho.
