AN ORDNANCE OF THE CITY OF DOVER, IDAHO, SETTING FORTH ITS AUTHORITY, AMENDING CITY OF DOVER ORDINANCES NUMBER 35, 45, AND 48 BY CHANGING THE ESTABLISHED REGULAR MEETING PLACE OF THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the interest of conducting City business that the regular monthly meetings should occur at the Dover City Hall;

Whereas, the City Council deems it in the best interest of conducting City business that the regular meeting should start at 7:00 p.m. as current ordinance provides;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Dover, Idaho the following be and is hereby adopted as ordinance of the City of Dover, Idaho;

Section 1: Authority

This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority granted by Title 50, Chapter 9, Idaho Code.

Section 2: City Council Regular Business Meeting

This ordinance provides that the regular meeting of the City Council shall be held on the second Thursday of each month at the Dover City Hall located at 699 Lakeshore Avenue, Dover, Idaho commencing at the hour of 7:00 p.m.

Section 3: Severability

The provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be individually severable. Should any provisions of this ordinance be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Section 4: Repeater Clause

Other ordinances of resolutions of the City of Dover, or parts thereof, insofar as they are in conflict with this ordinance, are repealed and rescinded.

Section 5: Effective Date

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication (1) issue of the Bonner County Daily Bee newspaper.
