Danny L. Neil, 49

Danny L. Neil, 49, entered into rest on Friday, May 11, 2007.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2007, at the New Testament Church, 56 Woodstock Dr., in Newport, Wash. The church is located four miles south of Newport on Highway 2.

He was born Oct. 22, 1957, in Spokane, Wash., the son of Lyle and Lois Neil of Priest River, Idaho.

He graduated from Priest River High School in 1976.

Danny enlisted in the Army in January 1976. He spent two years in Germany after his basic training, working in the motor pool.

When Danny returned home from the Army, he attended Spokane Community College for several years and learned the body and fender business.

After graduation, he went to work at the Corps of Engineers at Albeni Falls Dam.

When Danny left there, he worked for Ray Troudt at Exess Disposal until the business was sold to Waste Management.

He worked for Waste Management until he retired on a medical disability two years ago.

Danny enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, traveling in his RV and camping.

He worked in his garage on weekends and evenings repairing and painting vehicles for friends.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, at the home; three children, Jeff, Teresa and Keri; eight grandchildren; his mother; and a sister, Teri Hilderbrand.
