Ideological differences are war of ideas, words

| December 8, 2008 8:00 PM

Recently there have been calls for us to "work together" without regard to political parties. Specifically, what would we work together on?

You want us to "work with" you to increase the national debt and financially bury 10 to 50 generations of our grandchildren? Can a family or nation borrow and spend their way out of debt?

Maybe you would have us pro-lifers say nothing while the American genocide continues to snuff out the lives (30-plus million) of our unborn citizens?

Or maybe you want us to help you make the American Constitution a "living document" that "changes" with every wind? Or help you pack the Supreme Court with those who would administer European socialism?

You want us to "work with" your abandonment of traditional marriage of one male and one female reproductive families? Or like you, deny the Creator who gives us physical and spiritual life with resulting moral values?

We are in a "war," a war of words, ideas and thoughts. "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places."

The liberal war is against our traditional way of life, and freedoms.   Conservative values above have been under attack and eroding. "Choose you this day whom you will serve." If you have no ideals that are worth fighting and even dieing for, what do you have worth living for?

"Can two (ideologies) walk together except they be agreed"?
