Sandpoint Shootout deadline extended

The J-Dawgs boys basketball camp, originally scheduled for this week, has been canceled. Sandpoint head coach Lance Bruce had family matters to attend to in Oregon this week and was not able to put the camp on. He hopes to try and reschedule a future camp, but nothing has been set yet.

For those wishing to get their basketball jones on, the Sandpoint 3 on 3 is coming on Saturday, and it’s not too late to sign up. Anyone who missed last Friday’s registration deadline can still sign up today. The one-day tournament benefits Bulldog Bench, the SHS athletic booster organization. Athletic director Cheryl Klein says they are right on the verge of having enough teams and is hoping more teams enter today.
