Community invited to share willow tree photos

I must write to thank Ward Tollbom for submitting his "best shot" of the Larch Street historic willow tree. Thanks for the pleasant memory, Ward. I miss that tree terribly. I remember the horror I felt as I drove past the corner and saw the tree in pieces and the grass strewn in sawdust. I was not the only one to dab at tears that day. I would like to ask the community to submit other pictures of the old willow in different seasons. I hope the Bee will publish a spring, summer and fall photo as well. I find that I have just started a collection of old man willow photos, and I need more of them.
