Jefferson had it right

The notion that Democrats are trying to destroy capitalism is baloney. I give you Warren Buffett, who is the richest man in the world — a Democrat who is very concerned with the increasing disparity of income and the destruction of the middle class, many of his employees are unionized.

The modern Republican party is the party of big business and it is profits at any cost, they do the bidding of large multi-national corporations who couldn’t care less about the U.S. Will give tax breaks to send jobs over seas by the millions to escape the burden of paying for retirement, a decent wage, health care or environmental regulations.

The great cry from the Republicans has been “Reaganomics or deregulation” no need to regulate big business the profit motive will make it self-regulate. Great Republicans given as examples: George Bush “business man” — a total business failure. Cheney pro-war with anti constitutional views, draft dodger very responsible for lying us into war. Tom Delay: “known crook” with his buddy Abramoff. Dick Army: shill for the insurance industry. Gingrich: hands divorce papers to wife just out of cancer surgery and is having an affair with staffer while going after Clinton for Monica Lewinsky.

Thomas Jefferson said, “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by deflation the banks and corporations that will grow up round them (around the banks) will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless.” If you fight them, they call you a evil socialist!
