SPOKANE — Melinda Van Dyk scored two goals, and Meghan Pagano added another, but it was mostly Central Valley’s game, as they downed the Bulldogs 9-3 in nonleague girls soccer Thursday in Spokane.

Sandpoint (2-4-2) was down 3-1 at half to the Greater Spokane League team, before the Bears would add six second half goals. Bailey Scrimsher had five saves in goal, and Meghan Pagano and Jacque Cantrell each had an assist in defeat.

The Bulldogs host another strong GSL school on Saturday, when Lewis and Clark comes to War Memorial Field at 5 p.m.
