Little's Tires introduces towing service

SANDPOINT — Little’s Tire and Alignment has expanded once again, recently adding towing to its list of services.
Debuting at the beginning of August, the towing service offers flat rates plus discounts for individuals getting work done at the shop.
Owner Jeff Little sees the addition as a natural evolution of his business model.
“We’ve grown so much since opening our doors that it really felt like the next step,” he said.
The idea to add the service originated from the suggestions of customers. Little recalls customers inquiring about towing in the past. The demand already in place, he jumped on the opportunity to purchase a used tow truck from previous operator Fred Hartman.
“Fred took really, really good care of the truck,” he said. “It’s in just excellent condition, so it turned out to be a great value.”
This expansion comes only a few months before Little’s Tires’ 10-year anniversary. First opening its doors in November 2000, the business started as a tiny two-bay operation. The shop quickly gained popularity in the community, expanding into a fully-featured automotive and major brand tire store and gaining status as a Nationwide Marketing Group American Car Care Center.
“We’ve come a long, long way,” Little said. “These days we have some of the most experienced staff in the area, and we keep expanding the ways we serve our customers.”
