IFG must uphold oath and protect all animals

| April 29, 2012 7:00 AM

Black wolf is the voice for truth. The exhibition of the black wolf in obvious pain and the ignorant behavior of the guy in the footage is the perfect example of “the normal” attitude here in Idaho toward the wolf.  I find it interesting that Idaho Fish & Game is constantly defending itself and the so-called ethical trapper/hunter.

Saying that this incident is not “the normal” is a blatant lie. There is vehement hate for the wolf, which I have personally witnessed on my land. Why bother with shoot ’em, shovel ’em and shut up. It is outdated regarding the wolf.

In my opinion, with our own Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter calling out, as often as he can, for the elimination of the wolf, he alone has encouraged and given the thmbs-up to all anti-predator thugs, poachers and unethical trappers to go for it.

Fish & Game officers take an oath to protect all wildlife. The intent is evident that the unethical trapper left the wolf to suffer. Fish & Game needs to stand up and take action.
