Marriage should only be between man, woman

This letter is in response to the homosexual marriage announced in the Bee. It has long been the conviction of this country and state of Idaho that homosexuality is an abomination against our maker and wholesomeness of society. In this age of refraining from controversy I want to reaffirm the historical and biblical position on the issue, as I hope my fellow residents of Bonner County will also do.

What disappointed me especially was the portrayal of homosexuality as a completely normal, acceptable occurrence. Some may pass me off as a politically incorrect and hateful person, but I do not surrender myself to political correctness, but to the triune God of the Bible. I understand that the paper sometimes represents several different viewpoints, but I want it to be known that there are many here in the county believing there is a God in heaven that we are accountable to; not on just a personal level, but also on a national and local level. I love the state of Idaho and see the end result of toleration as being the perception of good as evil and evil as good.

I pray we will repent of our wickedness and place trust in the Lord Jesus Christ so that America may truly be blessed by God and not fall under His hand of wrathful judgment.
